the brief: create an engaging and interactive media and blogger hub to share SEVENTEEN news and product release content.

the result: the site was brilliantly received by the beauty and fashion blogging community, surpassing expectations for number of sign-ups.

How we did it.

SEVENTEEN needed a platform that media and bloggers could use to access SEVENTEEN’s press releases and imagery, as well as publishing their own blog content to the site. The look and feel was to be very editorial, with consistent branding used throughout the site.

Our goal was to translate SEVENTEEN’s personality to create a digital experience that made it easy for users to learn about their products. The idea was simple; use big, bold and beautiful design to let the content shine and encourage interaction.

It was vital to the SEVENTEEN team that they were able to easily update content after go-live so the site was built on the flexible Umbraco CMS.

Cosmetics brand SEVENTEEN has been helping young women discover make-up and express themselves since the 60s. With a strong, sassy brand image the company needed a site to showcase their products and content to the press. When they asked us to build a media hub, we knew we needed to design a site with an intuitive UX and bold design.
