As a main hub for Saint-Gobain’s UK presence, the website has to speak to multiple stakeholders interested in different topics, while maintaining a consistent brand story. Designing a site that not only looked good, but also had an intuitive information architecture was key to the success of this project. To cater for the growing mobile user demographic, the website was designed to have a fully responsive framework.
Previously utilising a difficult to manage and update CMS, the new site was built on the scalable and flexible open-source CMS Umbraco. In addition to building the website more logically, the system utilises write once, use anywhere content blocks. Saint-Gobain’s internal team are now able to easily create and edit any of the content on the site.
