Before the site redesign, Headway were reliant on an offline, paper based application process. This was not only a drain on resource as data would have to be manually added to their CRM, but also caused frustration for their stakeholders as they had to resubmit even basic information annually.

We worked with Headway to use extranets to improve efficiency both internally and externally by replacing paper application by creating secure online forms.

How we did it.

rationalising a site with accessibility in mind.

A major issue for Headway was ensuring that vital information was easily accessible to all stakeholders of the site. We rationalised the confused information architecture, working specifically on streamlining the homepage and accessibility of priority site areas. Designing a columned mega-menu allowed us to highlight deeper content areas without adding unnecessary clutter to the homepage.

Headway’s users are increasingly using mobile devices to access the site. It was imperative that a responsive design was implemented, with large touchscreen elements.
